- wow, this makes me trust our government/police departments a lot more. Police who don't know the law? or just ignore it? either way that's not very comforting. =(

- Haha, I just saw an interview with Cindy McCain saying she doesn't think the wives of politicians should be attacked. Well, you know Cindy, you should watch what you say before you try and defend yourself.

- Metrillian: how can you say pain only lasts till graduation? This kind of incident can cause true trauma to kids, I saw it happen my senior year of high school when a very popular boy died, and many friends became very depressed because of it (to the extent of therapy and medication).

- Alcohol really isn't hard for kids to get and teens die in drunk driving accidents all the time. Hard evidence doesn't really come into play when you're in shock--been there done that.

- You know these tactics may receive shock they exploited the children for, but where is the proof that they actually work? It'd be interesting to really see the facts on how much seminars affect kid's likeliness to change their behavior.

- It would be nice if that would happen but the people bossed around by these powers fear for their lives, even if they don't it's an obedience to authority. Read Obedience to Authority, a book in which a study was done on one's obedience to harm people when commanded by someone. It's scary.
